Bespoke Commissions
A piece that doesn't exist yet.
Some pieces shouldn't be chosen from a rail. A wedding shawl carrying a grandmother's motif, an editorial cape built around one photograph, a piece meant to outlive you and be named when it's handed down, these start with a conversation, not a size chart. Bring us the occasion and the symbolism, and our design team builds the rest with you, from first sketch to final press.

Every commission is secured with a deposit, sized to the piece and adjusted once your design and timeline are confirmed on the design call. It's non-refundable from that point, since your fibre lot, colour, and the artisan's time are committed to your piece specifically, not held back for someone else's.
Not the same as made-to-order
This is bespoke, not a size chart
Our made-to-order dresses and designer suits are cut individually in standard sizes XS–XL, a fit made just for you, from a design already decided. A bespoke commission starts with a blank piece of cloth: your own motif, your own colour, your own symbolism, and, where the piece calls for it, your own measurements. Nothing about it is chosen for you in advance.
What people commission
Three occasions, one standard of work
Bridal
A veil, dupatta, or shawl for the day itself, worked with a motif, colour, or thread that carries real meaning for your family, not pulled off a rack because the wedding is yours, not a look. Bridal work is often our most elaborate, some pieces take years, and we plan the schedule backward from your date.
Editorial & exhibition
A single striking piece designed around a photograph, a runway moment, or a gallery wall in mind, built with your stylist, photographer, or curator rather than for a rail. Something meant to be looked at closely, and worth keeping once the shoot or the show is over.
Milestone & legacy
A piece designed to be handed down before it's ever worn: initials worked into a border, a family motif translated into embroidery, a date woven where only you'll know to look. The kind of piece that gets a name in the family before it gets an outfit.
How it works
Five stages, from conversation to delivery
Consultation
A conversation about the occasion, the story you want the piece to carry, and a realistic timeline. No obligation, no cost.
Design & sketch
Our design team sketches a direction with you, motif, colour, technique, and sends physical swatches so you're choosing real fibre and dye, not a screen.
Weaving & embroidery
The piece is woven and, where the design calls for it, embroidered by hand at the originating atelier, the same craft and pace as everything else we make, built around your specification alone.
Fitting & finishing
For wearable pieces, a fitting or measurement check before final pressing. For veils, capes, and exhibition pieces, a final review against the brief.
Delivery
The finished piece ships with its certificate of authenticity, and, if you'd like it, a short written record of the artisans and technique behind it, worth having on a piece you intend to pass on.
